Jared Oehring, Stewart & Stevenson

Jared Oehring is the engineering manager over hydraulic fracturing pumping units at Stewart & Stevenson, a leader in fully integrated stimulation spreads. Stewart & Stevenson entered the oilfield in 1940 and has over 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing hydraulic fracturing equipment. Mr. Oehring also volunteers in ASME and was elected as the Vice President of Financial Operations for the Knowledge and Community Sector. He served in the Navy Reserves as a Petty Officer, 3rd Class. Mr. Oehring has a MS in Engineering from Kettering University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

Blake Burnette, Poster Committee Chair, Baker Hughes Pressure Pumping

Blake Burnette began his career developing some of the first CNC machine tools. He then moved into developing gas chromatographs including one that flew on the Space Shuttle. In 1988 Blake joined Baker Hughes developing equipment for the oil and gas industry. Blake holds several patents and has invented many products that lead the industry. Blake has worked in 21 countries installing and troubleshooting oil field equipment. Blake is now the Director of equipment research and development for Baker Hughes Pressure Pumping.
