ASME Auxiliary Student Loans

ASME Auxiliary Student Loans (up to $5,000 each) are made available throughout the year. Students may apply at any time.

Highlights

• Each applicant must be:
• A junior, senior, or graduate mechanical engineering student, in good standing
• Enrolled as a candidate for a degree, in an accredited U.S. school with a mechanical engineering or engineering technology curriculum
• A citizen of the United States
• Hold some grade of membership in ASME
• No one student shall be granted more than one grant (scholarship or loan) from the ASME Auxiliary in the same academic year.
• ASME Auxiliary student loans are interest-free until graduation.
• The loan plus accrued interest is to be repaid within 15-21 months after graduation.
