The ASME Board of Governors confers the Fellow grade of membership on worthy candidates to recognize their outstanding engineering achievements.
Nominated by their peers, ASME Fellows have had 10 or more years of active practice and at least 10 years of continuous active corporate membership in ASME.
Over 3,000 members have attained the grade of Fellow.
A Fellow, one who has attained a membership grade of distinction, at the time of advancement shall be a corporate member of the Society, shall have been responsible for significant engineering achievements, and shall have not less than 10 years of active practice and 10 years of continuous corporate membership in ASME.
