The following Banner Ad Specifications and Rules apply to ASME.ORG and are subject to change:
- Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- ASME reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertising.
- asme.org banners are primarily accepted in one size. Full banner size is 468 x 60 pixels (30K max file size.). For additional ad types or locations, please contact the advertising department.
- Banners are placed at the bottom (footer) of the page. A click on your banner provides viewers with a direct link to your products and services, or company Web site.
- The following pages have banner ad limitations:
- Codes and Standards - No Banner ads
- Publications - No Banner Ads
- Membership - No Banner Ads
- No page on asme.org will have more than two (2) banner ads.
- Actual ad placement vertical location on the page may vary.
- All Banner ads should be .gif or .jpg images and must be tested in browsers versions 4.X and higher. Ads hosted from a third-party Ad server must include placement instructions.Banner Ads that resemble content of asme.org will have a disclaimer of “advertisement” posted above the ad.
- No banner ad should extend the physical dimensions of the banner ad pixel space that was purchased.
- ASME will provide limited monthly statistics for an additional 10% per ad. Companies interested in this service should contact the sales department at advertise@asme.org.
