ASME Turbo Expo 2007 Set For Montreal

NEW YORK, Nov. 28, 2006 – ASME Turbo Expo 2007, the global conference addressing developments in the next generation of gas turbine technology, will be held May 14-17, at the Palais des Congres in Montreal, Canada.

ASME Turbo Expo – Gas Turbine Technical Congress and Exposition will bring together engineers, research scientists, educators and other professionals involved in the design, operation, and maintenance of gas turbines and related technologies.  Combining a technical program and equipment exhibit, TURBO EXPO 2007 will cover engine design, materials, operations and maintenance, noise reduction in turbines, alternative fuels, combustion diagnostics, and micro-turbines, among other topics.

The exposition at Turbo Expo will showcase the products and services of engine manufacturers, software developers, companies engaged in pipeline operations, research laboratories, and other firms in the worldwide power industry.

The ASME International Gas Turbine Institute is primary sponsor and organizer of Turbo Expo 2007, which also will feature facility tours and continuing education program for engineers seeking the latest knowledge in the field.
