Exposition At ASME Turbo Expo 2009 to Open June 9

NEW YORK, May 12, 2009 – More than 100 global manufacturers, service suppliers and research organizations will participate in the exposition at ASME Turbo Expo 2009.  The exposition will open June 9, at the World Marriott Resort in Orlando, Fla.

To date, 110 organizations have reserved space in the exposition at ASME Turbo Expo 2009, which will showcase engine manufacturers, software developers, and organizations involved in research and experimentation for gas turbines.  Exhibitors include General Electric, Siemens Energy, Alstom, CD-adapco, ANSYS, Southwest Research Institute, and other organizations in the worldwide gas turbine business.

In addition to the exposition, ASME Turbo Expo 2009 will include the Technical Congress consisting of technical sessions and panel discussions, keynote presentations, and continuing education program.

The ASME International Gas Turbine Institute (IGTI) is the sponsor of ASME Turbo Expo 2009 – Gas Turbine Technical Congress and Exposition, which will address both aero engines as well as stationary gas turbines used in electric power generation.  Turbo Expo will cover equipment design, controls and diagnostics, manufacturing processes, testing and repair, and emissions control, among other subjects.
