NEW YORK, Jan. 16, 2008 – The 2nd Integration and Commercialization of Micro and Nano-systems International Conference and Exhibition will be held June 3-5, 2008, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
ASME and the Micro and Nanotechnology Commercialization and Education Foundation (MANCEF) are co-sponsors of the conference, which will include presentations on the latest research and development trends in nano-science and engineering.
Experts from industry, academia, and government will discuss materials characterization, multi-scale manufacturing, heat transfer, optics, and simulation tools for systems integration, among other technical subjects.
The conference also will cover best practices in bringing micro and nanotechnology-based products to commercial markets, and explore opportunities for partnering and creating new businesses in Asia.
The 2nd Integration and Commercialization of Micro and Nano-systems International Conference will consist of plenary talks, a keynote session, oral and poster presentations, and exhibits.
ASME is dedicated to nanotechnology through the Nanotechnology Institute. The institute is a clearinghouse for ASME activities in nanotechnology and provides interdisciplinary programs and activities to bridge science, engineering, and applications.
