Do want to talk to your peers about technical matters, career and personal interests...without leaving your laptop?  The ASME Communities of Practice (CoP) is the perfect place to network with your fellow engineering students.

On the CoP site, you can join a community, search for a community member, suggest a new community, participate in discussions and polls, and post your own messages or request to be notified when messages are posted on the community. You are also able to customize your personal page to include your communities, links and personal calendar as well as access the ASME event calendar.
