The ASME Ementoring program is an online mentoring program designed especially for student members of ASME.  The program is free to all student members and totally email driven. 

Participating in the ASME Ementoring program gives you the perfect opportunity to network with professional members of the society. You will also learn how to achieve balance between your personal life and your school career.
 
What’s even better is if you aren’t sure what field of engineering you want to pursue at this time there are over 500 mentors to choose from with expertise in aerospace, biomechanics, design, manufacturing, nuclear, petroleum and even management sales.

You may be asking yourself “how do I sign up?  Well, all you have to do is go to https://secure.asme.org/signin/ementoring.cfm.  Once you log into the members only site you can begin your search for a mentor.  You can actually get advice from more than one mentor.  You are able to have two members mentor you at the same time.  We ask that you chose up to three mentors in order of preference in the event that one member may no longer be available.   With all of this done you are just one click away from being an ASME mentee and having an ASME mentor assigned to you.
