How Long Before You Become An Active Member

Membership applications are processed within 48 hours of receipt.
Your membership is activated once your dues payment is applied.
As a new member you should receive a Welcome Kit two to three weeks after approval. If you live outside of North America your Welcome Kit should arrive within four to six weeks depending on local mail delivery. If we have your email, we will deliver the information online.
The Welcome Kit includes descriptions and contact information for ASME benefits. A membership pin, and membership card are also included. If the Welcome Kit is sent online, the pin and card will be sent separately.
It should take approximately 4-6 weeks to receive your first issue of ME Magazine within North America. The first issue of ME Magazine is included for members outside North America with your Welcome Kit.
