ASME’s mentor of the month is number 650. His area of expertise is in Aerospace, but also has extensive experience in computational fluid dynamics.
Mentor #650 performed his graduate study for his masters degree at NASA Langley Research Center. He completed his Ph.D. part time while working. He previously worked for one of the major CFD vendors, Adapco. Currently, he is a Senior Scientist for a small defense and NASA contractor, specializing in CFD methods development. He is actively engaged in company marketing, proposal preparation, and attending/presenting technical papers at conferences, in addition to being the lead investigator on research projects.
