Project Management for Engineers

(Course # CDS 16)
By David Soukup

This is not your typical project management course. Given the quantitative background that engineers have, we will move right into how risk analysis can be used to calculate realistic project completion schedules. Increasingly, engineers are being called on to lead project teams made up of interdisciplinary groups. This course will show you how to be an effective team leader by describing ways to scope the activities and monitor the progress of projects. We will look at how project management software packages can support the successful completion of projects.
