2000 Recipient William Johnson, F.R.S., F.Eng., receives the ASME History & Heritage Engineer-Historian award for his many publications on a wide variety of technological-history subjects, including projectiles, the life and works of Benjamin Robins, manufacturing technology, and steam hammer forging.
