The Committee on Honors shall consist of nine voting members. Eight of these shall be Members or Fellows appointed by the Board of Governors, and shall serve three year terms, preferably with the terms of two of them ending at the close of the Society’s second Business Meeting of each fiscal year. This meeting is commonly called the Annual Meeting, usually held in June. The ninth shall be the Chair of the General Awards Committee. Preferably, the membership should include one Past President and two Honorary Members or ASME Medalists. |
