Apply the problem-solving model below, step by step, to the problem of planning and conducting a school picnic.

1.  State the problem.

2.  Analyze the situation. If necessary, develop a model that identifies or isolates the problem.

3. Identify constraints to a solution of the problem.

4.Develop a plan for solving the problem.  If necessary, develop a prototype.

5. Design and produce the solution.
