This presentation will focus on the U.S. Department's Mathematics and Science Partnerships program, which is the signature mathematics and science effort within the No Child Left Behind Act. In addition, the presentation will discuss other efforts to support mathematics and science education within the Department, and ways in which higher education faculty can become productively involved in helping schools improve.
