HOTEL INFORMATION Some ASME courses may be held at a venue where special room rates have been negotiated. Specific information will be listed in the ASME Product Catalog or may be obtained by calling an ASME registration specialist when registering for a course. To ensure accessibility to discounted rates, mention ASME when making your reservations with a designated hotel.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs) As a member of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), ASME is certified to award CEUs and PDHs to attendees participating in ASME training. Accredited CEUs meet the requirements for professional licensure, although specific requirements vary per state. ASME encourages you to check with your state licensing board for specific requirements. Upon completion of a course, you will receive notification indicating the number of CEUs/PDHs earned. One training of day is equal to 7.5 hours, or 0.75 CEUs. For example: a 3-day course encompasses 22.5 hours of instruction and awards 2.25 CEUs to attendees. You must be present for the entire length of a course to earn CEUs through ASME. CEUs earned may also be applied toward ASME Certificate Programs. For more information, contact Janice Lucas at 212-591-7399 or lucasj@asme.org.
