This course covers the 2007 Edition of the ASME Code, Section VIII, Division 2 and compares rules to the old Division 2, with other international codes. Emphasis is on design and analysis although all aspects of construction are covered.

Instructor
Yves Marez is a Pressure Department Manager with Gapave Pression. He previously worked as a Consultant Engineer in Pressure Equipment field with clients such as Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, DFBP: (French LPG Tanks Users and Manufacturers) and with ASME as an Expert Consultant for European Approval of Materials and PED.
Mr. Marez has served as a General Delegate "Syndicat National de la Chaudronnerie et de la Tuyauterie” (SNCT): Professional Association of Pressure Vessels, Boilers and Piping Manufacturers; as a General Manager "AFIAP" with the French Association of Pressure Vessels Engineers, and as a Technical Manager with CEREC Recquignies: Dished Ends Manufacturer (Vallourec Group). Mr. Marez began his 35 year career in the Engineer Material Department of CETIM Senlis: Mechanical Research Centre.
