This course will give you an understanding of the rules for in-service inspection of nuclear power plant vessels, piping, pumps, valves, and supports. The engineer's role in evaluation of service conditions and repair, replacement, and modification are also discussed.

- The applicability of Section XI to repair, replacement, modification, and maintenance activities
- The relationship of 10CFR50.55a, NRC Bulletins, and NRC Generic Letters 89-09 and 90-05 to repair, replacement, and modification

Instructor Rick Swayne is a Senior Consultant with Reedy Engineering. He has worked in many different areas of the nuclear power industry for over 20 years. He has experience in design, fabrication, quality assurance, in-service inspection, and repair, replacement, and modification activities.
