Become an Instructor or Course Developer

BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH ASME INTERNATIONAL

  1. ASME has a reputable continuing education unit with capabilities in market research, product development, marketing/promotion and product delivery.
  2. ASME has responsibility to ensure high quality products and that certification criteria be followed.
  3. ASME is a certified member of the International Association of Continuing Education & Training to award continuing education units (CEU/s). ASME provides certificates and awards CEUs for course completion. Participant records are kept for seven years. 
  4. ASME provides an online training program for individual instructors.
  5. ASME provides a quality check on courses and products that it sponsors or conducts.

  1. You benefit from association with the ASME International - its reputation, credibility and global community.
  2. You receive training in how to run your own continuing education courses.
  3. You receive marketing and promotional support. 
  4. Your courses will be and promoted listed on ASME International's website.

STEPS TO BECOMING AN ASME AUTHORIZED GLOBAL INSTRUCTOR

ASME also seeks and welcomes engineers and other technical professionals to develop, market and teach short courses in their country or region. The Authorized Global Instructor should be the content expert with an advanced degree in engineering, a recognized professional in the technical community, and has teaching experience.

Step One
If you are not already a member of ASME, become a member.

Step Two
Read the following information:

  1. ASME Global Training Program.
  2. Benefits of working with ASME International.
  3. Benefits for Instructors.
  4. Steps to Becoming an ASME Authorized Instructor.
  5. ASME Authorized Global Instructor Requirements.

Step Three
Submit a resume with three references.

Step Four
Complete the online course Global Training and submit three assignments.

Step Five
Once approved, you sign an agreement with ASME.

Step One

  • ASME Global Training Program
  • Benefits of Working With ASME International
  • Steps to Becoming an ASME Authorized Provider

Step Two

  • Provide ASME with information about your company and three references.
  • Provide resumes of principals and instructors.

Step Three

  • Once approved, you sign an agreement with ASME.
