ASME is seeking partners to deliver its premier Global Management for Engineering and Technology.
As global companies grow, they pay more attention to collaboration among departments, international divisions, subsidiaries, and even between companies within, or outside their scope of business. In this way, they can maximize the benefits from the exchange of knowledge, skills, best practices, innovative ideas, and also increase their efficiency and global competitiveness.
In order to help global companies cope with issues resulting from the current globalization, ASME, in collaboration with cutting edge subject matter experts, industrial leaders, and educational institutions worldwide, launched the global training program: Global Management for Engineering and Technology (GMET), and is seeking to form partnerships with Universities and other qualified education providers to deliver GMET training to companies worldwide.
Benefits for GMET Training Partners All GMET training partners will:
- Access high quality course materials and a vast amount of relevant information ready to be used in your training
- Reduce your time and high cost for development and maintenance of training materials
- Gain access to a lifelong learning solution, a global community, and an international standard in professional development
- Level the playing field with your competitors, or establish a leadership position in training in your market.
- Participate in a worldwide cohort of authorized providers.
GMET Training Partnership Operations After you sign the GMET training partnership agreement with ASME, you will be provided with the link to the GMET Delivery System, which can be listed on your website, and through it, both you and your trainees can access all course materials by user ID and password.
ASME will assist you in mapping out plans for local marketing and program operations, hiring local instructors to lead the online study, sending the chief instructors to conduct the live in-class training, and issuing program or course completion certificate jointly with you to your trainees. ASME will also provide free access to the course library and course forum for your trainees for two years after their completion of the program.
GMET is a body of knowledge collaboratively created by ASME, chief instructors, and all other stakeholders. It evolves with time and should be applicable to the realities of each country and each company. Therefore, you are encouraged to localize the training by emphasizing local needs and by using more local cases, and to share your local content with all GMET stakeholders by timely submission of materials to ASME for the course library and course forum.
