Authorized GMET Training Provider
Raising Hand In Training Class

In order to reach out to more global companies, ASME plans to license the GMET training package to companies or qualified education providers worldwide.

Benefits of GMET Licensed Training
GMET licensed training:

•Offers access to high quality course materials and a vast amount of relevant information ready to be used in your training
•Reduces your time and high cost for development and maintenance of training materials
•Provides access to a lifelong learning solution, a global community, and an international standard in professional development
•Suits your employees with a wide range of learning styles, work schedules, divergent locations, and different time zones
•Avoids losses in production time, productivity, high tuition, travel, and other expenses as those incurred in conventional training.

What Do You Get?
Being an Authorized GMET Training Provider, you are entitled to use all online GMET course materials, live in-class training materials, GMET delivery system, the training format, and other related services.

Online GMET Course Materials - Each course has a syllabus, eight course modules with lecture notes, case studies, reading materials, 16 online multiple choice quizzes (160 questions each course), and a class forum where your instructors can lead the online study and discussions; a GMET course forum where your trainees can view the model discusses by trainees in other parts of the world; and a GMET library where you can find the relevant research papers, technical reports, trainee’s model papers, and Internet resources, as well as ASME’s digital library. Both course forums and course libraries are updated regularly.

Live In-Class training – Chief instructor’s outlines for the two-days live in-class training, and 150 multiple-choice questions for the final exam.

Other Services – ASME will help you train your local instructors.

Authorized Training Operations
Upon fulfilling the obligations set forth in the GMET license agreement with ASME, you will be provided with the link to the GMET Delivery System, which can be listed at your website, and through it, both you and your trainees can access all course materials by user ID and password.
The GMET training is scheduled with eight weeks of instructor led online study, and followed by two-days live in-class training for each course. However, you may alter the format, duration and the order of the course schedule according to your trainees’ needs.

GMET is a body of knowledge collaboratively created by ASME, chief instructors, and all other stakeholders. It evolves with time and should be applicable to the realities of each country and each company. Therefore, you are encouraged to localize the training by emphasizing local needs and by using more local cases, and to share your local contents with all GMET stakeholders by timely submission of materials to ASME for the course library and course forum.
