Global Management For Engineering And Technology (GMET)

Welcome to GMET Global Training Program – a unique and globally collaborated training initiative of ASME on global management of engineering and technology, which consists of the following four courses:

•Advanced Concepts in Global Engineering Project Management
•Collaborative Engineering Principles and Practices for Global Enterprise
•Global/Cross-Border Leadership and Teamwork for engineers and scientists
•Strategies, Structures, and Best Practices for Thriving in the New Global Economy

Each course has eight online modules with lecture notes, case studies, reading materials, online quizzes, and a class forum where you can interact with your classmates and the local subject matter expert, followed by two-days live in-class training by the chief instructor. You have free access to the GMET course library and course forum for two years after completing the program. GMET is a lifelong learning solution, a global learning community and a standard for the professional development. It can be conducted through ASME, ASME’s GMET global partners, or within your company, and suits all learning styles, work schedules, cultural backgrounds, and all institutions with global operations.
