Partnership with CCNY on NSF Curriculum Reform Grant
ASME has partnered with the Mechanical Engineering Department at the City College of New York (CCNY) on an NSF grant for department level reform of undergraduate engineering education.
The implementation of the curriculum reform will lead to a truly modern ME curriculum by incorporating emerging technologies, introducing new teaching methodologies, and undertaking recruitment and retention efforts to contribute to the increase of the engineering workforce. >> learn more
Collaboration with NAE, IEEE, PLTW, NAPE on NSF Gender Equity Grant
The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) in collaboration with ASME, IEEE, PLTW, and NAPE was awarded an NSF grant aimed at creating a more "female friendly" environment within engineering education. Focus is placed on academic preparation for engineering study, social environment, curricular content, and instructional style. Through this grant, we plan to increase the diversity of engineering students and contribute to the diversity of the engineering workforce. >> learn more |
