Opportunities:

• Call For ABET Evaluators - Assure the quality and vitality of Mechanical Engineering and related degree programs. Apply or consider nominating someone to become an ASME/ABET Program Evaluator.
• Essential Teaching Seminars - Send your faculty to the intensive ASME Essential Teaching Seminars.  The seminars have helped nearly 400 faculty hone their teaching skills in a collegial, peer-critique environment, and learn from the latest best practices in teaching and learning. The collaborative "learn by doing" format ensures that participants will make substantive gains by the end of the seminar.
• Frank von Flue Award - Nominate someone for the ASME Frank von Flue Award, which is presented annually and recognizes significant contributions by an individual, group, company or institution to the promotion of lifelong learning for mechanical engineers. Nominations are due by January 31.
