EMCI, or Engineering Management Certification International, is a certification program that both facilitates and maintains competence in engineering management among qualified engineers, scientists and technologists. Initiated by ASME™ in partnership with ASCE™, AIChE™, AIME™, ASEM™, and SME™, EMCI develops and maintains a "Body of Knowledge" (EMC-BOK™) for certification in global standards and best practices for engineering managers. EMCI COURSES THROUGH ASME CONTINUING EDUCATION INSTITUTE (CEI)
CEI, as an Authorized Knowledge Provider (AKP) of EMCI, offers courses for those who need to prepare for or maintain EMCI certification. To register for one of the courses below, please contact ASME Customer Service through means listed at the bottom of this web page. Member pricing applies to all current members of ASME, AIChE, ASCE, AIME, ASEM and SME. Course prices are exclusive of all applicable EMCI fees.

A NOTE ON CEUs/PDUs
CEI will issue Continuing Education Units (CEU) as noted in the appropriate description for any EMCI-approved course upon its completion, including those who take preparatory or “domain” courses prior to EMCI certification. EMCI Professional Development Units (PDUs) will be granted only to EMCI-certified individuals upon demonstrated completion of an EMCI-approved course.
