Engineering Management Certification International was recently introduced in China.  EMCI is a certification that validates individuals' competence in engineering management.

• The first Engineering Management International Forum was held in Beijing on April 23, 2005.
• Promotional tours were conducted in 9 major cities July - August 2005.
• The first EMCP class in Beijing was completed on Nov. 27, 2005.
• The first EMCI examination in China was held on December 18, 2005.

Global Management for Engineering and Technology (GMET) - is a globally collaborated training program commissioned by ASME, delivering solutions to the issues of global management of engineering and technology under the current globalization.

ASME signed agreements with four Chinese Partners:  Beijing Jiaotong University, Shangai Jiaotong University, South China University of Technology and Beijing Modern Management Technology Education Center (BMMTEC)  to offer GMET training jointly in China.  For more information on GMET please click here.
