Student Competitions Your student section could be next year's student competition winners! Read below for some student design contest options.
Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) Competition The point of the competition is the elegance and ingenuity of the design, including presentation, practicality and safety. All areas of engineering problem-solving are addressed - it's not as simple as it appears to design and build these vehicles. And the competition itself is great fun for the team.
Ingersoll Rand Competition The purpose of the contest is to encourage engineering students to be total professionals by participating in events that expand on their academic pursuits.

Asia-Pacific Student Design Competition! The competition entails building a humanitarian emergency shelter in an area immediately affected by a natural disaster. The shelter will be made from whatever materials are available at the disaster site, and is meant to provide interim accommodation for four weeks until the more permanent dwellings can be provided by the rescue teams.
2007 Design Problem: Human-Powered Potable Water Still Teams are asked to build a small, prototype device to accomplish the task using limited motors and power sources.
ASME Scholarships Available for International Students! International students are eligible for certain scholarships.
Ementoring The EMentoring program is available to all ASME members with 5 years or less work experience in the engineering field all year round. Participating in this program will give you the opportunity to interact with an experienced engineer in your chosen field. There are over 500 Mentors with expertise in Aerospace, Biomechanics, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Petroleum, Plant, Power, Waste Management, Pressure Vessels & Piping, Nuclear Engineering, Process Industries, Management, Engineering Sales & Marketing and more.
International Partnership Program Encouraging international partnerships between institutions such as establishing a study abroad program, attracting international students for graduate study, establishing research collaborations, or a variety of other arrangements.
