Sellers, Coleman

(1827-1907), U.S. mechanical engineer and ASME's 5th president (1886-87), pioneered photography by artificial light and, in 1890, designed the first large dynamos for the Niagara Falls power plant (Cataract Construction Company). He was born Jan. 28, 1827, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died Dec. 28, 1907, Philadelphia.
