Gilbreth, Frank Bunker
(1868-1924), U.S. mechanical engineer, together with his wife, Lillian, developed the method of time-and-motion study in the efficiency of industry workers. He was also first to apply motion-picture photography to the study of surgical operations. He was born July 7, 1868, Fairfield, New Jersey, and died June 14, 1924, Montclair, New Jersey.
